Great start. This season is gonna be cutthroat and shite is gonna hit the fan. Gonna be great. Waiting week to week is gonna be miserable.
I can't wait to watch ct crack some skulls. As much as id like to see bananas backpack part 2 I think I'd rather see him and zack go head to head would be awesome.

I love this show. 
The lady and I picked teams... we just "draft" a handful of people each, most people in the finals wins, tiebreaker is of course whoever has the winner. I guess with guys and girls separate we could each pick a winner and have a legit tie... we'll see.
I've got CT, Jordan, Laurel, and Cara Maria.
She has Bananas, Roylee, Emilee, and Aneesa.
To be fair, she picked Emilee thinking it was crossfit Emily, not whoever this is this season. Her bad!
How is Laurel not Chet's first pick? How is Leroy not picked sooner? These two suck at picking teams, but Team Black looks way better on paper.
Could Jasmine and Latoya live up to angry black woman stereotypes any more? They suck.
I'm surprised Jordan didn't get across the log, that challenge seemed made for him. I'm even more surprised that Jessica did.
Part of me agrees with Bananas that you should vote in stronger competitors, but that leaves the possibility of getting paired up with a weak link later and being at risk because of it. It also could piss off someone who is likely to return and vote for you next time they get a chance. I think we'll see a lot of rookies voted in at first, and you know once Bananas or CT is on the losing team and has a random chance of going in they will be pushing hard to go in against someone like Preston.
I like this season a lot so far.
ETA: Chet is such a pussy... just finish the challenge and then get stitched up, you loser.

good first episode. chet is a little pussy. jemmye sucks. not mad about either of them leaving, really. jemmye should be a package deal with knight. either both are on the show, or just knight is on the show. jemmye without knight is fricking worthless.
bananas is totally right, IMO. you have a chance to vote in good people early and there shouldnt be an alliance strategy in consideration. i think they think there is an alliance strategy but will realize there isnt when they will probably do some challenges with only 1 guy and girl winner and shite. tj tried to emphasize that there were no teams and i felt like they didnt grasp that, yet.

Agree 100% with that, though Knight by himself is entertaining enough...they can leave Jemmye at home for all I care.

You can look at it both ways though. I can see voting in strong people, but weaker people means that you (or your friends) will likely win in the elimination more easily. The problem is that each person, like you said, doesn't grasp it I don't think, so they are going with alliance voting and "Well, the last two people said this person so I'll say this person too."
I loved TJ making that comment to Swift and then him changing his vote.

I laughed at how pissed LaTrasha got when Jordan said he was just going to stick with the trend and vote for her. At that point there were two or three people left and she had a commanding lead, what's he supposed to do? Vote for someone else and risk them getting butt hurt about it and repaying the favor? No, you vote for the person that already has it clinched and then no one else gets their panties in a twist and that person has 8 people they feel like the owe and not just one.

I do think there will be some alliances formed also.
At least some pacts to not vote someone in if they are on the losing side. I could see that happening between plenty of people that have a connection, since they could always end up on opposite teams that day.

Just looking again at the trailer they showed at the end of last night's episode and it looked they have another spelling/trivia challenge where they get flung into the water if they are wrong.
