Gotta disagree. I went last week for the first time and enjoyed the atmosphere. The food on the other hand was pedestrian. Not a bad spot for a beer on the patio but don't eat there.

Not sure I would say pedestrian. Burgers, simple plates, but you can get quite an interesting spin on things. You can get your shrimp and oysters "buffaloed," many cheese options, including brie, and it is well-prepared. Ask, and they can hook you up.

It's nothing fancy, and it does not push any boundaries, but a it's a good place to spend time with some interesting preps of simple foods. The atmosphere is why the slow service is less of a demerit, agreed.

What did you get? I normally get the shrimp and grits, the blarney burger, the chicken sanwhich (buffalo), or a salad with tuna.
