They're good Dandy, but they aren't that good.
I´m not talking about on paper, but how they perform.

When healthy, they perform well every time. I just don't think I would put them above an on form Bayern or Madrid.

Obviously if those are the only two exceptions, then they are still pretty damn good.

I would love to see Arsenal get Martinez, but I can't see him leaving Everton after just one year, especially with how well he has that team playing and given how close the two teams are currently in the table.

Of course not, and I don´t think Bayern has settled upon a model XI (have they?).

Both Bayern and RM have had superior performances, but that is to be expected (as both XIs on paper are stronger than AM).

Of the three, I think AM´s been at the consistently highest level.

yeah, especially if they get 4th above Arsenal... Ive read that RM are keeping close tabs on him for when Ancelotti's card is eventually pulled..

regardless of how this season turns out, we're still a much, much better job than Everton. though the one year loyalty thing is a valid point. i don't think he would be in our top 3 or 4 candidates though.

as for the club philosophy part, there's a huge cult of personality within the club re: Arsene. for better or for worse, he micro-managed the shite out of everything. anyone who comes in will be a big change.

Villarreal´s Marcelino is a good option for Arsenal.

he name dropped Dragan Stojkovic as someone he'd like to succeed him this summer, but recently said he wouldn't be involved in the selection of his successor.

given our club's german emphasis, klopp, low and tuchel would very likely be at the top of our search list. as far as ex-players go, Remi Garde and Bergkamp are the only two i could see as legit possibilities.

My first call would be to Frank de Boer... He's got to be ready for a new challenge by now...

He's who I wanted at LFC (said he wasn't ready), though I'm obviously pleased with who we got and how he's done..

would be interesting, because he'd almost certainly bring bergkamp with him as his no. 2.

Frank de Boer
has stated numerous times he has no desire to leave Ajax. I think he would be an excellent hire though. Löw would do well too. Klopp would be the guy they should push hardest for. His approach is brilliant and his managing of often young and injured squads (arsenal anyone?) is very, very good.

Löw would be a disaster

yeah, but he has won the eredivisie 3 straight years and is six points clear now... At some point he has to be ready to step up for a new challenge and jobs like Arsenal don't come along that often..

His brother suggests he may be ready to move now, but who knows...

Not with the right people with him. Arsenal is well structured enough that he wouldn't have to worry about building each and every part of the club. He can't micromanage the way Wenger does, but he could continue the stability of the club.

Yeah I don't mean to say that he is never leaving, there is always so much conjecture on this stuff. I think he would be an excellent fit for Arsenal too, he just continues to insist he doesn't want to leave.

He's absolutely clueless about defending, too loyal, slow to change. Podolski would play 90 minutes every game.

I think it's time for a change. The team has had injury problems all year and should've made a bigger push during the last transfer window.
