There aren't many moments in hunting or fishing when you get to look a critter in the eyes from just a couple of feet away before you kill it. It's not scared of you. In fact, the opposite should be true: You should be afraid, very afraid. When you're spearfishing, the beasts of the ocean have all the advantages. You simply have to have the moxie to step into the ring.

Great article written about spearfishing, in particular Abbie. I've dove with he once before and known her for a few years now, this article was done very well.

Nicely written article – I don’t know Abbie well but dove w/ her mom, dad and uncle for a number of years and the apple didn’t fall far from the tree. Got to watch those big AJs they always seem to come back to life and you better be ready. If you have shot a big AJ, grouper or lemonfish we have all had those come to Jesus moments.
