You mean switch from a postion that was never attainable in the first place and entirely lip serice, to one that could actually happen?

fricking cowards!!

Wow so you are basically saying Ted Cruz was right

Cruz et al were correct that the only realistic way to defeat Obamacare was before millions became reliant on its entitlements…

His "brilliant move" would have required Obama to sign-off on repealing Obama-care. I'm pretty sure that's not going to happen.

The realistic way is to win elecitons, gain majorities in the House and Senate and take the presidency - then overturn it and "replace" it with one of the many thorough and well thought-out (lulz) alternatives proposed by the GOP over the last few years.

Cruz is just a side-show for your entertainment. That shtick was just so you'll vote for him in 2016.

No, the only realistic way to "beat it" was to do so before it eve passed. Reid et al pulled some dirty shennigans with Senate rules, so we're fricked and stuck with it. I have no doubt that Karma will come back to bite the Dems in the arse for that. Whether that's for tax cuts, entitlement cuts, immigration, whatever. Republicans won't forget that bullshite procedural move, and will do it themselves at some point.

I would be absolutely shocked if the power balance in DC EVER again tipped to a point where Republicans could get the votes for a full repeal. That was a pipe dream from the moment it passed, and the reps that said it wasn't were just pandering to you.

At this point, all you can do is treat the symptoms of the disease (ACA) and hope it doesn't kill you.
