Did anyone else raise their eyebrows when they looked at the authors name and the publication? Nice article btw. My biggest question(s) with the libertarian platform is the order of importance of fiscal issues vs social issues? I am willing to concede on some social issues to win the fiscal battle, but not the other way around.

Libertarian politics is a slight oxymoron. Libertarian goals will/can be reached through market means, not by elections.

The Libertarian movement will eventually be absorbed by one or both parties. It's what happened to the Populist movement of the late-19th/early-20th Centuries.
