For the RB spot, a lot of people are underrating Magee. He was more effective than Hill was in some games last year, and made some huge runs for us in crunch time. He will get the bulk of the carries early on, and will get just as many carries or more than LF down the stretch. Magee is a good RB. And like I said, regardless who gets more carries, it will be close to a 50/50 time share in terms of carries. Plus, Magee will be playing in passing situations.

Which games are you talking about?

And I really think DeSean Smith becomes a weapon for us, due to a few reasons. He arguably has the best hands on the team. He had the best hands in the country as a recruit. Hes going to be a special player.

The TE position at LSU is an enigma. I'll believe it when I see it.

Hill wasnt there for the TCU game and we didnt miss a beat with Magee. 13 carries, 95 yards, 2 TDs. Also was a monster vs TAMU game, where he set the tone with a 65yard run in the 1st quarter. And had 2 TDs vs Arky, where he broke off 2 TDs in the 1st quarter from 29 and 23 yards.

No, Im not saying Magee is better than Hill. At all. But hes better than Blue and Hilliard. He had some moments for us last year that were huge. Plus, hes a threat out of the backfield and our QBs are gonna need that safety valve from that spot. And hes not the traditional type of RB that we are used to here, but hes a tough tackle due to being low to the ground, runs behind his pads really well, can break tackles, great vision, and explosive.

86 carries for 626yards and 8 TDs. 7.3ypc. Vs SEC opponents he had 46 carries for 296yards and 3 TDs, a 6.4ypc. Not a lot of carries, but produced when he got the touches. Hes the type of RB that could have a long NFL career as a #2 / change of pace guy.

No doubt LF is gonna get his too. We ran the ball over 500 times last season. And I think we are gonna run it more this year considering our best unit is our OL and inexperienced at the QB and WR spot. I def think both Magee and LF get 200 carries each. If LF is getting most of the carries all year, thats a good thing and even better for us.

In regards to the TE spot, I agree But we havent had an OC like Cam who has a history of using the TEs a lot in the passing game. Nor have we had a pass catching TE like Smith. It wouldnt shock me at all if he is used like Graham, where hes a TE but is split out or in the slot most of the time.
