That really sucks. Sounds like they definitely weren't prepared for the crowds this year.

I was told that after they sold out of the original 2,000 tickets early that the organizers added an additional 500 tickets.

I think 2,500 people is just too many for the space they use. Especially when it seems like 25-50% of that number are always crowded around the homebrewers tents.

I'll agree with you about the bathroom situation. You can't have too many port-a-pottys at something like this.
And I don't remember there being live music at the festival. This is the third time I've been to it -- skipped last year because of a wedding but went the two years prior to that.
I was also a little bummed that some of the local brewers didn't do anything special -- Parish, Abita and Nola just had out their normal selection of beers. It would have been cool if they had a preview of a new product. And I thought Crooked Letter Brewing was supposed to be there?
But these are minor complaints. It's a good event and something I enjoy every year.
