Whether at the point or at the 2 he'll be very effective.

Sure, right now he's very effective, but what happens when Jrue comes back and commands the ball for the bulk of the possessions?

I just worry that, once Jrue comes back, Tyreke may revert back to the inefficient mess that he was at the start of the season. It's clear that he is at his best when he is running the point.

He had great stretches with jrue around but he kept dealing with injuries/monty

He has montys trust now and he's healthy

That's a big difference

Meh... not really. He'd have a good game every now and then, but I think before Jrue's injury, Tyreke was one of our least efficient players.

I don't think jrue will command the ball to that extent though.

He's perfectly capable of playing off-ball or tyreke can slash in while jrue feeds him.

Tyreke's jumper hasn't looked bad at all fwiw.

It all hinges on whether or not Jrue buys in and if he is ok with relinquishing PG duties to Tyreke. Something tells me, though, that once Jrue comes back, he will go back to being the primary PG. After all, that's what he was brought in for.

He averaged 13/5/5(on 43% FG) in the 2 months jrue was around

That was in 25 minutes though and he was still dealing with the constant ankle irritations/monty.

His per 36(what he would be close to averaging with jrue around):

18.2 PPG 6.4 assists 6.0 Rebounds

Now his scoring might be more in the 15-17 range but the increased efficiency with taking less shots(Jrue/AD would be around) make his outlook promising.

And there's nothing wrong with jrue being the primary PG.

Tyreke's been putting up crazy numbers with roberts being roberts.

One thing is for sure then...Gordon must go. They need a 3 and D SF to go with Reke and Jrue.

I'll reserve judgment.

He's played beyond great and is a totally different player as a starter.

However I'm also not forgetting the bum he was for 2/3rds of the season.

We'll see next year if this run is an illusion. I don't think it is. I think it's real but I'm not going to totally buy in...yet.

With Gordon missing games again do to knee issues, I just can't see any team taking the risk on him. Only way I see getting him off the books is if the knee gets bad enough to have him not being medically cleared.

It's not on the same knee that was giving him trouble

This is one of those minor things that 90% of the league has this time of year.

He was at shootaround the other day and wanted to give it a go fwiw.
