It's an incredibly creepy and increasingly common paranormal phenomenon that is being reported around the world. It usually involves a knock on the door usually at night from 2 young "kids" usually mid teens or younger dressed in dark pants and .overcoat/sweatsuit with the hoodie concealing most of their face. The kids claim to be lost, cold, or hungry and ask to enter the home usually to use the phone or sometimes to use the bathroom or get something to seat. The kids speak with unusual poise and confidence that along with an aura that causes a sense of dread and foreboding in those who answer the door. The kids persist in a strange monotone voice to be let in until they are either let in or are told to gtfo. There is a moment in all the encounters when the person looks into the eyes of the kids but only sees dark lifeless eyes.

Google black eyed kids and read some of the freaky stories. The phenomenon is either an incredibly well done hoax or is real. My opinion is that if it is real then it is demonic in nature.
