I'm not sure if this is 100% accurate, but I think EBRPSS demographics have changed a good bit in the past 15 years. When I was in HS, Glen Oaks, Istrouma, Capitol, etc had baseball teams. None of them do now. Young black athletes are way more interested in basketball and football. I just don't think those schools have enough interest to field a team.

Even the football teams have issues getting a team together. Kids would rather go frick off after school then play sports. The sports programs don't have a lot of money Either
