No way in hell Jurgen starts an 18 year old against Mexico in his first real camp with the squad.

He'll definitely be one of the 6 subs used though.

I certainly couldn't imagine him not playing at all... If we are gonna give him a chance in the WC even as a sub shouldn't we see him against a WC quality team? Its still just a friendly, even if it is Mexico.

Which is why I said he'll be one of the subs...

I think he has a better chance of making the roster than Wondow and GAM. Give him the start and let's see what he can do.

I do think it says a lot about Yedlin and Gil and how they are the only 2 newbies from the January camp that got called back in. Gil will likely be a victim of the depth chart, but I could very easily see Yedlin stealing Evans' ticket to Brazil.

This also pretty much spells the end of Benny Feilhaber's international career.

Nope, but I've seen the others. GAM will be useless in the WC unless we start pounding crosses into the box late in a game. I get the feeling that Wondo isn't really in Jurgen's plans based on playing time and call ups with the first team. We'll probably take 4 strikers to Brazil. I think Green will take one of the two spots not taken by Jozy and Aron.

And he's actually been playing pretty well.

...but, you've never seen him play.

There is just so many fallacies in your argument.

Well, I can't imagine a guy that's worse than present day GAM getting minutes at Bayern.

People on the facebook page are asking where are all the Euro based players? Even asking where Shea is at, really?

Getting put in a few games and being highly thought of by the manager. I know he's not a regular player, but I don't think GAM, Wondo, Gomez, etc. are good enough to even be an occasional sub.

I always love reading the Twitter and Facebook responses, especially during the non-FIFA sanctioned dates.

I hope Gil gets some useful minutes. I've only gotten to see him play once in the U-20 game against Spain and he was impressive.

I found out about him trying to build a FIFA team around young USA players. After that I had to look up some film. Solid prospect. Really hoping he pans out.

Brad Davis in the middle makes it a little more difficult for me to fap to the 2nd row.

More difficult. Not impossible.
