His PER may never be higher than it has been the past 2 weeks, but he will certainly add the 3pt range with more consistency, become harder to back down in the post once he bulks up some more, add some more post moves, get his assist totals up, etc.

I look at something else too. Google pictures of Lebron and Dwight Howard when they first came into the league compared to now. AD has a similar frame to start. I still think he has a lot of muscle he can put on that frame without loosing quickness. If he does that we are talking outright dominance in the paint to go with his still developing jumpers.

The talk has changed from "he's got so much potential" to "he's realizing that potential as we speak".

So at this point, he's no longer "just scratching the surface" ? He's there, and has a few small things that he is going to add over time to go from dominant to just ridiculous.

yes he will he will get better with more experience and more post moves.
Plus he will get more confidence in handling the ball to bring big men out on him and take them off the dribble.
Oh and adding a 3 point shot.
that is just on offense

When i say "scratching the surface" of his potential I mean that hes starting to realize how good good and dominant he can be and is starting to impose his will out there.
Hes just starting to dominant and be truly elite on both ends of the court. Its just the beginning for him. And he will improve so much in the next 2-3 years both mentally and physically. Hes nowhere near a finished product.
Gonna be an all time great when its all said and done.

I think he is just scratching the surface. He still has so much more room to add new skills and refine current skills. I expect him to become every bit as dominant as LeBron. He's a two way player that can do things no one else in the league can. Eventually getting to the point where he can embarrass every skilled PF in the league the way he embarrassed Pau Gasol earlier in the year is what I see as the drastic improvement, not averaging 40/20. It's still a team sport so his stats can only go so high.

4-5 years removed from being a 6-3 guard that only 1 small college had offered.
