How old is the episode you're crying about being spoiled?

People need to get over themselves. Wahh someone just spoiled the Cosby Show for me.

someone spoiled Lost in the damn Malaysian Airlines thread on the OT. I haven't seen Lost yet, but now I know it involves a plane and a coverup.

The Lost series finale aired nearly four years ago...

This kind of thing is exactly what I'm taking about. If it's not the current season or especially if the show is over.. Well then just get the frick over it.

Yall are idiots. Just because the show has been over doesn't mean spoilers are fair game.

If you post something without warning and someone isn't to that point in the show, it's just as bad if you posted something about a current show. I'll leave you both with this:

There is a difference between posting a blatant spoiler in a thread about a show/movie that is somewhat current and a reference to a show that has been over for four years in a Malaysian air disaster thread...sorry you are having trouble differentiating between the two.

Just because you weren't fan enough to watch a show 10 years ago when it was actually on TV doesn't mean I have to watch everywhere I talk about it.

Spoilers weren't a big deal until the on demand Internet TV show watching age. When in actuality TV shows were always on demand. You just had to buy the seasons when the DVD came out. No one cried like a bitch if a 10 year old episode was ruined for them.

It's more of this current Generation Crap's self centered lifestyles.

Yeah, and before that, you had to wait for your favorite episode to cycle back around the re-run schedule. And before that, you had to get it on reel to reel, trying not to mix it in with your grandfather's Depression era frick flicks.

I've seen other boards with the spoiler tags and always wondered why TD never had them.

The m/tv board needs a strong open minded mod.

yep, now the first 2 minutes of the pilot episode are completely spoiled for you.

Hell cokes and others complain about a lot less in the threads on the MTB. I almost look forward to the GOT threads more than the actual show.

Is Cokes not the admin there anymore?

I'm just jumping in at last post so if that was an inside joke I may have missed it.

It's either Cocomo or Baloo on that board.

both, though Cokes is one of the admins who denies being an admin. I always wondered if that was SOP here.

I hate not knowing who the cops are.

They need someone who has read the GoT books and TWD comics, and thus knows what is and isn't a spoiler, to have some admin powers to balance out Cokes spoiler witch hunts. I could have squashed the whole cannibals talk when it first started weeks ago. Instead, it was allowed to escalate to nuclear levels. Having no formal powers, I just stick to my reader threads and ask people to cut it out from there.

I'm actually on Cokes side with these "witchhunts". I'm not trying to open up discussion again, but Liberty is a great example of why readers probably shouldn't even be allowed to post in non-reader threads(which would never be enforceable). Some are so desperate for attention that they literally can't stop themselves.

There are well-behaved, mature reader's that have zero problems with not posting spoiler material while participating in non-reader threads but unfortunately we have to suffer for the bad one's as it really sucks when I see non-reader's get their experience changed because of posters like Liberty.
