I would wish/hope we have enough deep talent that he can't win a spot to be honest.
And Meech always seemed to be a good teammate.

If we resign him, that's not good imho. He's always going to be a guy that doesn't do shite for 2 or 3 games, and then he'll make a catch or two in a game to remind you he's there. We need another young wr that is going to be a threat and impact guy pretty much every game.

The one and only Lombardi Trophy the Saints have was won with a blend of youth and experience. We have a lot of youth at WR already (Morgan, Stills and Toon) and only Colston that has real experience.

The real question is: Can he contribute enough to warrant a spot on the 53 man roster? I don't know the answer to that. If he is resigned, Payton obviously thinks he has value.
