weather you get it checked out or not, lyme disease may be in your blood already due to the bite. however, the good news is, at least you can tell your doc that you were bit by a tick. most lyme disease patients don't know why their head hurts or why their neck hurts so bad and why they are running a fever and feeling like shite. the docs usually put them on meds that have nothing to do with lyme disease for a few months only to find out later (by a blood test) that they have the disease.
