If you continue reading, he's not talking strictly talent.

Well he wasn't.

Also, doesn't he have the most yards ever in a single season?

Not really. Haven't been that many guys like Sproles, who've been as good as him during Brees' NFL career. He's gonna be top 20 all-time in All-purpose yards after this year.

"If he is talking strictly on talent then drew is high."

He's 5'6 with like 15,000 all-purpose yards in his career. Name some others.

It amazes me how many Saints fans take some of our best players of all time for granted. For every electrifying play he made, DS did just as much for the offense without the ball in his hands. He was a mismatch nightmare for every DC he faced!

This is one Saints fan that appreciates him, and he will be missed. Good luck in Philly, Darren.

Yea, we are all positive you know more than Brees on this subject. Tell us more, it's riveting.

Sproles is not even remotely close to a once in a lifetime player. He's a gadget player and fairly one dimensional. His ko return and punt return abilities had diminished greatly.

That said I like the guy and he was great on screens and wheel routes but again not an every down player.
