'd vote libertarian or 3rd party.

3rd party is the same as 3rd place also known as the second loser in a race.

I will vote for any GOP candidate over a Democrat.

That isn't the only factor. I refuse to support our royal families.
I get that. I don't want another Bush or Clinton in the White House, but if it comes down to Bush or Clinton, I think Bush is the better option. A third party candidate has no chance of winning. So to not vote or vote third party only ensures the Dems stay in power.

The starting LSU QB has no bearing on my life whatsoever. People in elected office do. This isn't a fricking game.

The point I was trying to make, is that many people have stated if a "certain" republican candidate does not win the primary, they will not vote or vote third party.

That would be analogous to picking a new favorite college football team because your guy is not the starting qb.

No, I'm sick of the Bush and Clinton families. If Rand is not the nominee I will be voting Libertarian.

I will vote for whoever I think the best candidate will be. Since I don't know who would hypothetically be running against Jeb, I can't say if I would vote for him or not.

I would not rule him out just because of his last name, but I would not vote for a lesser evil because the person I think is the best candidate for the job doesn't have a good chance of winning.

If everyone would vote for the person they thought was the best candidate, instead of voting solely to keep opposition out of office then this country might actually end up with a decent leader.

Just look at how many people in this thread would have voted third party if they wouldn't have been so scared that the dems would win the election. Actually vote third party and the third party candidate could actually gain some steam and potentially win.

Yes! Yes! A thousand times yes!

Why? To save the country from ruin. Because it would mean that he is the candidate running against the Democratic candidate, probably HRC.

I would not vote for him and may go so far as to vote for the democrat.

The problem with progressive republicans is three-fold:

They continue to grow and consolidate federal power, albeit at a somewhat slower rate than democrats.

Many on the right see an "R" by the president's name and assume all is well. They don't pay attention and go back to sleep.

They turn the country to the left. Bush 1 led to 8 years of Clinton and Bush 2 led to 8 years of Obama. At that rate, I don't want to know what Bush 3 would lead to.

I am either for a candidate that will break some eggs and reduce the size and scope of the Fedgov or I am for running this bitch into the ground asap with extremists like the current potus. Bring on the collapse and the reset, as painful as it will be.

This, except I honestly don't know enough details about his positions to "rank" him.

If he is the GOP's best hope of winning back the White House than this country has no hope

Is Jeb running against Hillary?

Yes.

Is Micky Mouse running against Hillary?

Go Mick

Is the reincarnation of Stalin running against Hillary?

I'm leaving. All hope is lost.
