Do you really believe this? The Earth itself is believed to be over 4 billion years old. Do you not believe in the study of geology? I am not saying that any theory is beyond question but I find the age of the Earth much more easily acceptable than the Big Bang Theory. I also want to point out that I don't wholly dount the BB theory I just think that we are really reaching to find the Genesis of the universe and there is a greta deal we don't know.

I believe scientists don't know as much as they think they do. The very fact that you couch this statement as "is believed to be" shows it is not a demonstrable fact. It is a simple belief.

The BB Theory and an "Old Earth" do not contradict each other. As a matter of fact, if I remember correctly, the BBT says that the Earth is billions of years old.
