I was thinking more along the lines of maybe L'Wren was having thoughts of Doom and Gloom and had her 19th Nervous Breakdown. Then Mick was like "Has Anybody Seen My Baby?" So the authorities went to her place, banged on the door, and screamed "Can't You Hear Me Knocking?", but they had to break in in an attempt to make an Emotional Rescue. When they saw her body, they knew there was no hope when they discovered that "She's So Cold"
