90% of Americans were looking for some sort of action after the Connecticut shootings.

Isn't this the guy that had a dead staffer in his office under questionable circumstance?

Santorum won Iowa for Christ sakes. Think about that for a minute

Because he garnered the evangelical vote. This board wants to ignore that voting block, but it still remains a large block that has historically carried Republicans to victory. Santorum's success did not surprise me a all.

Yep, and the quickest way to see a third party that will kill Republicans chances for the next 50 years is to continue the "we need to stay away from social issues" nonsense. I'd venture to say half of the republican base are Republican BECAUSE of the social issues.

Nah, that was Mika's deal. She claims she's pretty good in the kitchen.

I welcome any candidate that I don't like to take up the issue of gun control. Please do it.

He would have a lot of Dem cross-over appeal and would do well with independents. He would do well in swing states like Florida and Ohio and Pennsylvania. I have Democratic party in-laws who I know would vote for him before they would vote for Hillary, Biden or Bernie Sanders.

Libs don't give a hoot about fiscal responsibility. Now we're saying half of the GOP are Republican solely because of the social issues? Means those folks couldn't care less about catastrophic fiscal policy and debt either.

That's why.
