Construction management online degree?

I have taken the majority of the coursework needed for a degree already but I'm now working and can't afford to attend class during the day or night. How effective is FINISHING your degree online if the majority of completed courses were in fact taken in a classroom?
Just trying to get some feedback.
What say you, CMGT'ers?

It'd probably be finished at an online college. My main question is will construction firms frown/laugh at that?

Online as in Phoenix or online as in brick and mortar that offers some online degrees? I think there's a big difference in terms of perception. If it's from a brick and mortar the degree isn't any different from any other degree.

It wouldn't be Phoenix but it'd be online. Not from a brick and mortar.

I would say it depends on just how many classes you took on line vs traditional...

Way more than half were done in class. I'd only take roughly 5 classes online to finish it.
I really appreciate the feedback so far guys.

damn, man...it is a shame not to be able to finish that without doing it on line...
I would say that as long as that is clear on your transcript, it would have minimal impact...
I do quite a bit of interviewing and most of the time people tell me they are one semester away from their degree...turns out to be like 50 hours...
ETA: the real impact would be not being able to say you got your degree from LSU, ULM, etc...even though you did 99% of the coursework there...

If you have the experience and a creditable CM degree. You're absolutely hirable.
Eta: Also on your resume put your online degree but don't be afraid to separate your hours between universities on there as well.

Only 2-3 semesters til I finally graduate in CM.

Just so you know...
Traditional brick-and-mortars also offer online degrees, that is what Epic Cajun was talking about.
Answer me this:
A) Did you take the bulk of these classes at LSU?
B) How many hours do you have total towards graduation?
C) Where do you plan on doing your online work at?

They're still trying to put the program together. I would recommend visiting LSU and talking to Prof. Heumann and Dr. Berryman about trying the online program. They would probably be able to give you better insight into the viability of the online program as an option. LSU also offers a masters online and a minor in CM. It's a great program in a booming industry. I don't know if I'd recommend the "online" version quite yet, but the class room version is a solid program. Easily the best degree to get if you plan on starting your own business.

Everytime you post, BTE's King of New Orleans is stuck in my head.

Make sure you don't forget anything from commercial. It's heavily represented on the exit exam

sorry man! Everytime I think of BTE or listen to them, it takes me right back to my "real" college days!
