Seventies. IIRC Fred's was originally Fap's (no shite, that was the name). Another early one was Zachary's and I think Baby Doe's was another. The first wave were a little before my time. I started with Fred's when it was extremely frat. Apparently it's not a frat hangout any more?

Idk but the Box was clearly the GOAT bar and this is not up for discussion.

Heisman's was a distant second.

Sports was Sports Illustrated which was Barney's which was Punch n Munch. Punch n Munch was the early 1980's. Half of the place was video games, the other half was a sandwich shop. I don't know hat it was prior to that.

Zachary's, Baby Does, Scarlett O's, etc. was never the same thing for more than a year or so, it seemed.

Fred's was always Fred's while I was there.

Is this what we used to call Tigertown? Don't know ,I remember the Bayou being a cool bar. They would let you pick out your own music, from about 1000 records. Had some cool graffiti in the restroom, until idiots started covering over with gang BS. Then it burned.

1997...that was my freshman year. And they were built for me.

And an incoming freshman should say the same. Tigerland was built the year you walked into the door. Thats the way we all feel.
