If it's a good, high-quality artificial tree -- ok. However, there is a fine line and the cheap ones look like tacky trash.

Be on the safe side and "accidentally" sleepwalk to the tree and pee all over it. She'll be likely to toss it then.

You wouldn't get much in a garage sale anyway.
