SJL is stupid - probably not that stupid however. If you asked her the question - when was the constitution ratified? she may well come up with a correct answer.
She is accustomed to speaking without regard to facts however, so this is her normal way of being loose with the tongue. None of her constituents care - she says whatever she wants for effect at the moment.

It really baffles me.

I propose a new rule in both the House and Senate.
Its alot like the cardgame "bullshite". If someone who has the floor to speak spouts heineously erroneus facts, any member may stand and call "bullshite". If it is found in fact to be "bullshite" said member's floor time is revoked and they must cede the floor and sit down.

This would be funny as hell if this woman wasn't responsible for making decisions on running this country. America is fricked because of people like her in positions they have no busy being in. A person running for a Federal office should have to pass a tough test on American History. And not multiple choice,but fill in the blanks. Damn this country is so fricked.
