yep. He looks better than I expected. He looks very good when the ball is in the air.

Nah, that's a mechanics issue with his release. It's troubled him since he's been here.

I think he compensates for it and sometimes takes too much off of his passes.

I hope they all get a fair shot. Just cus one guy can throw it further doesnt make him better. Some guys just have it when it comes to game time. We will never know if they dont play.

If Rettig is looking the best, then I hope he gets his shot.

If LF is not as good as advertised or he gets injured, we are in for a long year.
Better hope that Jeff Grimes is as good as advertised and there are no major OL injuries.

Hard to tell from shorts and pads with no rush. The looked better throwing deep balls. Intermediate routes are where we need the most improvement from Jennings or whoever starts.

Avery pulls up already lame I hope he can stay healthy but to this point it is not looking good.

Any news on Avery? I hope it was just a cramp.

Cramping up seems to run in the family.

If it's cramping, he needs to eat a large bag of salty sunflower seeds every day and drink plenty of water.

I always love the knee jerk reactions to spring videos like this every year. So entertaining.

The only thing I got from any of that is that John Diarse is freaking HUGE at WR. He's going to be able to shell off defenders beautifully. I see a lot of 1st down catches in that young man's future.

Are you basing this off of one video?

I just have a feeling Les has a hard on for the dual threat guys and he won't…when in reality we could just stick with the same offense as last year.

Rettig looked the best but Jennings will be much more polished come the fall

He needs to be throwing like 50 slants a day.

Please don't make such foolish statements. Anyone can get hurt at any given time.

Saw a news story last week about highest rated QB walk on LSU has ever had coming to LSU this year. I think he had one year Jr college and was 6'2". Didn't catch name. Is he here already and in that video?

Good god, everyone watches 5 minutes of practice footage and suddenly they all know who the best QB is. Each of them showed off some of their strengths in that video. It is truly a 3 way battle for the Wisconsin game. The most exciting thing to me as an LSU fan is CAM CAMERON is sitting there giving them all advice on how to improve their game. Stop with the "I hope Les gives them a fair shot" routine. Les wants to win championships more than anyone on this message board, and he and Cam will put the quarterback and offense on the field they think gives them the best shot to do so. End of story.

I really want to see the receiving group with Quinn and Dupre

I really like what I see out of Diarse, plus he's a big possession type WR. Leslie looks real fast, but still too skinny. Even 15lbs of muscle would put him at 190 which is still better than rail thin. Spears is out today again with an injury and he is the one I want to see most considering he has a lot of upside with his height and athleticism.

Saw in a vid today where Diarse says he bunks with Jennings and they have a real good connection. Says they come out and practice throwing and catching a good deal trying to get the timing right.

hmmm...looked like some pretty bad misses in there. It's only drills with amateur video, but Rettig has looked the most consistent so far.

Have to agree.
