Could I borrow someone else's to make a call back, or do I have to find a pay phone?

It would have to be life changing money.

For example, enough money for me to buy a nice house cash and not have that note to worry about would be life changing money.

A shite ton. Too much of my life relies on it especially since I'm in school a ways away from home.

I'm thinking like $50,000. This assumes we will have some new technology in 5-7 years that will easily be able to substitute for the loss of my phone.

Assuming current technology for the rest of my life.. I would probably need $500k or more.

There is a number, there's always a number, but it would be ridiculous.

It depends, my cell phone is a main function of my job. I would need to replace my yearly income for the 40-50 years. So a lot

Considering my job requires use of a smartphone, about $5 million minimum to offset lost income.

Tens of millions. My cell phone is pretty essential to my future earnings.
