5. Blazers. Starting 5 of Lillard, Matthews, Batum, Aldridge, and Lopez. Solid production across the board. They dont have a great bench though. Mo Williams is their best bench player. And they rely heavily on Lillard and Aldridge for offensive production. They need to get Batum more shoots and he needs to be more aggressive. Hes only shooting 9 shots per game, 4th on the team behind Lillard, Aldrige, and Matthews. A player of Batums caliber needs to be a key player in the offense, not just a role player. And thats how hes been this year. If Portland wants to make a run at the Finals, they need Batum to become more aggressive on the offensive end. IMO, hes the key to the Blazers post season success.
I agree with most of this. It's not like we don't want Batum taking shots, we do, it's he's such a passive basketball player and lately, he's been trying to get the flashy pass. In the Houston flopshow, Batum had like 7 turnovers. I remember back to back fast breaks where he just passed the ball to the opposing team. I agree that he is critical. Both offensively and defensively to our success. I'd love for Lillard to call his number more too. It's hard though when the refs foul you out on flops.

What I recall from our game about a month ago was them shifting Batum over to guard Conley because he was killing Lillard. Do y'all do this a lot?
Conley is still a step slow from his ankle injury, so we have been doing the same with Tony Allen often picking up the opposing team's ball handler. I like having a guy like that hound the ball handler because it can really mess with the flow of the other team's offense.
