It's funny you say that because the minute I saw the black box locator, I thought to myself that it reminds me of the potato shooter my uncle John made and brought to deer camp one year.

Thai satellite spots 300 floating objects
Here we go again

Thailand's Geo-Informatics and Space Technology Development Agency released satellite photographs on Thursday showing about 300 objects floating in the southern Indian Ocean.
The objects, photographed Monday, are between 6 feet to 50 feet (2 meters to 15 meters) in size, too small for the satellite that captured the images to resolve distinct shapes, according to Thai officials.
When photographed, they were about 125 miles (201 kilometers) away from the spot where a French satellite captured a floating group of objects on Sunday.
Searchers have yet to find any of the objects shown in satellite images, going back to last week when Australian authorities revealed their analysis of commercial satellite images showed a promising group of objects some 1,500 miles off the country's west coast.

And another day goes by with nothing being found. I can't imagine the families frustration with this situation.

I guess the capt killing the co-pilot isn't possible?
Anything and everything is possible at this point. I'm pretty sure that we'll never know what happened or why it happened unless there is a conspiracy and someone rats it out before they're bumped off.

But you're failing to recognize the fact that the families got their texts about what happened and a $5K check

I never thought about that but do they actually leave? Seems easy for someone to just storm the cockpit when they do leave
Yes they leave to hit the bathroom, a flight attendant will stand in-between the first row of seats and the bathroom while they are opening and closing the cockpit

Its getting comical. Every day they see hundreds of objects via satellite and every day the search units find nada.
They're probably just seeing waves or maybe the mermaid kingdom.

As soon as they find new images it's always they can't get out due to weather.

You do realize that there has been alot of shitty weather out there and they have done almost no searching in the last three days.

I'm seeing a pattern here

Yesterday the weather was perfect.

how pissed will the world be when it is discovered that this is all the result of some dickhead leaving his tray-table down and not securley stowing his carry-on item under the seat in front of him?

Or airlines coming back like "See, See this is what happens when you don't turn your electronic devices off"
But really, I can't believe a plane can disappear for three weeks like this.

I think the families would lead a revolt. At the same time, these Malaysian folks sure don't seem like the brightest.

not perfect timing for a british airways ad

I don't think any of these pieces of debris are related to the plane at all. It's been three weeks since Flight 370 disappeared. If the wreckage is indeed in the Indian Ocean, there's no way the pieces would be in such large clumps due to the currents and weather. They'd be scattered for miles around by now.
My mother read somewhere last week that this part of the Indian Ocean is used by ships to dump their trash. That's probably all these satellites are seeing.

Why attack the Malaysians over an unprecedented event like this? It seems the United States, Australia, Japan, China,Korea, France,etc... are just as perplexed.
They have shared all the information they possibly could .They are being now criticized for some of that information not being correct. Although if they don't share everything before verification they are attacked for withholding information.
After 9/11 ("Bin Laden Determined to Attack America")we have little room to criticize & had someone taking credit .
Malaysia & the world will learn from the incident just as we did from 9/11.

I can't believe this plane is still missing.

In sure all the oceans are used for that to some extent. But why kill all those people in the ocean including yourself. Why not an area that would cause more harm?
