Do you think they will actually find the plane though or just debris?

tl;dr - the company who provided the images used a calculation that hasn't been used before to determine that the flight went to the southern corridor and ended in a remote spot with no plausible landing sites and they conclude from that info that it went down suddenly in the indian ocean.

Would've been awesome to have a survivor from this to tell the story of what really happened.

makes me think once again, pilot suicide and the USA used technology they dont want to divulge as they were by far the first to even suggest southern Indian Ocean...

lol at everyone who said it was in Pakistan or Krygyzstan

hijacking was very plausible.. I don't see how you could think it wasn't given all the contradictory details

They informed me that the UK company that provided satellite data that indicated northern and southern corridors has performed further calculations using a type of analysis never befoe used
AKA go back to your lives and stop vacationing in Malaysia on our dime.
This was a pointless statement. No wreckage no care.

I love the guys who are going to come in here and act like they knew exactly where it was from the bwginning. Based on info people had, it's not like Pakistan was a terrible prediction.

There was a fire, pilot turned plane around to land at nearest airport, cabin lost pressure, oxygen masks didn't deploy, everyone lost consciousness, plane ran out of fuel.

You mean conspiracy theories?

Yea and also, have you seen how much information CNN put out on 777's? Between CNN and this thread, I pretty much:
Learned how to fly a 777
Learned where's the black box
Learned some of the weak spots in military radar
And learned how to land a plane
Hell if TD can teach us all this, they should've had us on this instead textbooks. I guarantee the dropout rate would be about 40% less

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't the turn pre-programmed before the co-pilot said "good night"?

Why? Why are you laughing at those people?
With the amount of disinformation floating out there, I don't blame anyone for thinking that.

Conspiracy theory? Every possible outcome was laid out weeks ago. The plane had the fuel to possibly land somewhere. It isn't as farfetched as you are making it out to be.

If this is true, every 777 needs to be grounded until this can be figured out how to stop.

Why? I agree with you that it needs to be figured out ASAP, but this would be the 1st crash of a 777 in its 20yr history that wasn't pilot error.

Sad news. I figured there wouldn't be a happy ending though.
