Moore and Sproles saves the team 6 million dollars and evidently there were no teams offering trades. PT could save them another 3 mil which would suck because he is one of my favorites. Hope he stays but it not it looks like they will roll with Ingram Robinson and Cadet. Cadet may prove to be another quick pass catcher out of the back field and hopefully Ingram can continue that strong running he embodied at the end of last season sans fumbles.

And we need it too.

Our offense has been great still. But a lot of that is due to Brees and Payton. A lot of our top weapons are 1 dimensional type players. And when they are in the game, opponents know what to expect. Our O has become kinda predictable. Sproles in the game.... its a pass over 70% of the time and hes gonna run a screen, bubble, or an out and up with a LB on him. Grahams in the game... its a pass over 70% of the time as well. Teams know our tendencies, and knowing if its a run or pass based on personnel makes it easier. Still hard to stop though. Dont get me wrong there. But when you play a good D like the Seahawks, Carolina, Rams, and the Jets it gives them an edge.

I like what were doing. It had to be done eventually. You only have so many years left with Brees. We need to get him some young, athletic weapons that can win the 1v1 battle and make plays for us. Not older guys that have lost a step or 2 and cant make the plays that they used to. It sucks because we are letting go of guys that have been been here for a while and were huge to our success. But you cant keep them forever.
