Just out of curiosity how ya'll going to defeat Mexico? When ya'll secede all of the national guard equipment that was given to Texas is going with the US...

I imagine private gun ownership in texas is much higher than anywhere else in the world save the Swiss.

The us would have to take back the "leach" us citizens. Why act like they wouldn't go back to the us (and shift the balance sheets too)

Jesus, you are such an incredibly ignorant jackass. First, comparing Crimea to SW US is nonsensical. There is no popular movement to merge SW US with Mexico. While the majority of Hispanics in the SW are of Mexican descent, there are large contingents of Hispanics that not of Mexican ethnicity. Only about 33-40% of the SW is Hispanic compared to about 2/3 of the Crimean Region being ethnic Russian. Finally, Crimea was under Russian control a generation ago as opposed to the SW US where the majority was never under Mexican control and the parts that were were generations ago.
And I'm sure the US would benefit from segregating the largest oil refining region of the country.

Then this begs the question, why the f' are the blue states so dead set on holding on to the red states? Wouldn't you (blue state) rather keep more of your tax dollars home?
