IMO we should put diplomatic and economically pressure on them and let them know we are serious about military intervention of they can't work it out. If crimea really wants to be Russian then let Russia and Ukraine work out a diplomatic solution.

What does this mean exactly? Serious question.

I'm on board with kicking them out if the G8. Restarting our missile defense shield, maybe parking a couple of carriers in the eastern Med. and large scale military exercises in Poland or Romania just to let them know we could end this if we wanted to.

I agree w zombie. Pressure, diplomatic and economic, need to be started, yesterday. I do think the G8 and G20 option need to started as well. Reactivate the missle defense with Poland/Czeck Republic and use Georgias quest for NATO membership as a tool as well. I also would let it be known that the military option is on the table and would go as far as starting troop/asset movement in Poland and be very public about it.
