Come to work to find Eatel digging up my yard

Pull in to my business(free standing building) and Eatel has all kind of equipment parked in my parking lot, digging up shite & making a mess. Looks like where they're digging is in the servitude area, but all the mud and mess is in my parking lot. There was no "hey, we gonna be digging shite up" courtesy. just wondering a couple things.
1. Can they just take over my property like that without making me aware?
2. When these subs leave and all this mud and shite is left there, cause you know they aren't cleaning it up, am I supposed to?
ETA: do Eatel & cox type businesses have the same right to tear up shite like the city/parish?

Call and complain and they should take care of you....they should have a public outreach guy notifying you and making sure that shite gets cleaned up

They made the mess they clean it up. Keep calling and hounding someone over at EATEL until it's done!

I would suggest accidentally dropping a few boxes of roofing nails in "their" work area.

Cox did this to my parents' yard a couple days ago. Went into their yard with a horizontal boring rig while their yard was soaking wet and put massive ruts in the yard. Said they were supposed to put plywood down to prevent tearing up the yard but they forgot. They still haven't been back to fix it. Needless to say, the folks a'int happy.

I feel for you. That kind of stuff sets me off.

They only have rights to the servitude and road right of way. Your parking lot probably is not on servitude, so you could have a legitimate beef.
