All Them Witches - Lighting at the Door (full)

I think it is worth a listen for any lovers of:
- rock
- blues
- folk rock
- spacey rock
- stoner metal
- good music

The sound has been described as...
quote:

They describe themselves as a psychedelic Delta Blues band yet, All Them Witches from Nashville, Tennessee has a bit more on offer then you would expect. The key is in their mix with a modern folk kind of balance and style

LINK

Fav from the album

Hope you enjoy it if you give it the time!~

Great album. Check out Our Mother Electricity as well. They are one of Nashville's better bands in my opinion. frick, they are one of the better new bands I've heard of period. I saw them at The High Watt and didn't know who they were at the time (they put on an incredibile show too, fwiw). I've been hooked ever since.

Their music is like....a fusion of Danzig, Tool, Led Zepplin with a dusting of Jefferson Airplane on top; a blend of blues, metal and psychedelic rock 'n roll. They are extremely unique and talented.

They are a little on the dark side, no?

I find it dark and spacey yes. This album has a life about it drawing from so many aspects of music. Flokish-bluesy-spacey-heavy stoned psychedelia!!

Which track of the albums did you most enjoy?
My favs are Marriage of Coyote Woman, The Death of Coyote Woman and Charles William.

God, that is so difficult to say given how diverse the album it is. It really doesn't have one bad or "skip" song on the album in my opinion.

I think it was genius by starting the album for Funeral for a Great Drunken Bird and then transitioning into the heavy riffed When God Comes Back. The great bluesy Marriage of Coyote Woman is phenomenal, but I also really, really enjoy Mountain.

Just the name of the band alone sparked my interest. But then again, I am that dude that listens to Tom Waits' spookiest /weirdest stuff on a sunny day in May.
