I watched the speech earlier; he did a good job. He represented the National Alzheimer's Association on a witness panel at a Senate Appropriations subcommittee hearing. He has an Alzheimer's charity and personal experience through his mother-in-law. They were taking testimony and considering the economic impact of the disease.

My mother was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer's at 56. I think it's great that he is trying to bring awareness to this horrible disease. I give Seth props to getting behind this cause and bringing more awareness. Most people would be shocked to find out how many people in their 50's are being diagnosed with the disease. The economic impact is mindboggling for families. My mom had a masters degree in education and was an assistant principal at a middle school. Not only did my dad lose her salary but is paying 50K a year for her to be in a nursing home.
