Why? Just wondering.

Just less friction in life. I have nothing but respect for people who adopt outside their race, but it's not something I'm prepared to deal with.

I'm young and not married yet, but my fiance and I talk about adopting a black kid in the future. We think it would be fun. Kind of like the movie "Easy A"

You'll never be able to really understand them. It's a barrier that exists, whether you want it to or not. You can love them all you want, but they'll know something is different. Better, IMO, for a child to at least be able to think they are your "tribe", in a sense.

I don't think Asians are really discriminated against at all. If I had to take a guess, she'd get more shite for being adopted than being Asian when she was in school. You'll be subjecting your kid to that regardless.
