Would love to hear referees call this one. What will be the physical expression used during the announcement?

John Wooten, head of the Fritz Pollard Alliance that monitors diversity in the NFL, said he expects the league's competition committee to enact a rule at the owner's meeting next month making it an automatic 15-yard penalty if a player uses the N-word on the field, with a second infraction meriting an ejection.

Does this include black on black n-word usage?

So stupid how white people are now trying to regulate the word n*gga when black people use it towards each other.

The Fritz Pollard alliance is as white as the NAACP.

Please oh please let this happen

Wouldn't this knock out one's own team? Teammate using it against another teammate? Buddies from different teams saying, "What's up...." before the start of the game? Half the team might not even be in play by the end of the first quarter.
(This opinion is based off the language I hear in Arizona amongst African American friends and their buddies of all races; half of them use it, half don't)

Pretty sure 99.9% of the would-be users of that word in a game would be black.
Why's this entity trying to keep the black man down?
Morons.

I see the NYPD Blue Scipowicz character doing the hand down over forehead to chin gesture.
Would a black dude get a 5 yard and a white guy get a 15 yard personal foul?

NAACP Was founded *mostly* by white people.

Riley Cooper may as well retire if this rule passes.

This'll backfire on them when 75% of the players getting ejected are Black.

No words spoken. Just throw a black flag instead of the yellow one. I think everyone would get the point.

Eliminating the use of that word won't "keep the black man down". Quite the contrary, in fact.
But I'm one of those black people (and there are many of us) who don't allow anyone, black or white or otherwise, use that term.

They only started talking about this after Trent Williams' incident with the ref, they're both black.
