The BFG Rugged Terrain is a decent tire that's priced below their A/T. I'm not sure of the specific price, though.

I've had a set of 31x10.50R15s on my Jeep since last summer and have been very pleased with them. Great traction, and really good in the rain. And I was pleasantly surprised in the snowstorm a few weeks back. Put her in 4Lo and climbed some pretty slick steep hills here in Birmingham and never lost grip. The only issue I had was when making a right hand turn onto another street, since it was a little tighter than a left hand turn. They slipped a little bit, but not enough to really matter. But if it will do that on a sheet of ice, I'm happy with it.

I think my total price was around $750 for a set of 4, mounted and balanced with the road hazard insurance on them as well. I had to order them from National Tire and Battery, since they were on their website, but not stocked at the location I was going to.

You're probably going to pay more for them being larger rim sizes, but maybe not that much more.

I'm going to get a 5th for my spare soon, since my spare is a BFG AT and only a 30x9.50, that way I can do a 5-tire rotation and the spare will be the same size.

I also just looked at ntb.com and they're running a buy 2 get 2 free on the Nitto Terra Grapplers. It would be $248/tire installed, but you'd get two more free. Not sure if this is in all locations since I entered my zip code, but worth looking into.
