I wish there were more of these type things. October is the worst month for me to get away.

I am pretty good at golf cart mudding if anyone needs a tutorial. Naw seriously, I've never played golf or run a 5k, but I am good at drinking. I'll try to make it to this one

In and there.

Never met EJW but this is a great cause and a great opportunity to meet fellow OB'ers.

Probably wouldn't play golf and definitely won't be participating in the run but I can help with the beer and liquor consumption and tend camp.

Will also bow hunt if it's a possibility.

I'd be coming solo so if i can share a cabin with someone or another group that'd be great.

I can hit the hell out of some golf balls, they just don't go straight. I usually stop when I hit a house

I am not a golfer but I would like to hang out and maybe run the 5k. LSUCouyon lives on the lake. It's a beautiful place.

I think I'm in.

Im in the process of booking 2 of the cabins that are over the lake. It will be 240 to book two for friday and saturday nights. And 240 due upon checkout. If we have 16 people splitting it, thats 30 per person for both nights. If there are any privacy discrepancies for couples, i may have a couple of extra rooms at my parents and grandparents houses on the lake.

I will set up a paypal acct to try to recoup some of my initial money's.

I think it would be more fun to bring the "tippy" boat and let you drunk arses try your hand at it.

Also- I have a projector and 150 inch screen. That may help with the viewing party.

I never met the man, but what about funding scholarship accounts for the kids?

Maybe they are already taken care of, but if not I think we should consider it. No better way to honor a man, than to watch out for his family
