The shield is a good little gun and I'm guilty if carrying it alone too much but I try to carry a gun with a little higher capacity but I don't understand why people have such confidence in such low round count.

To the average person who can't carry a full sized duty gun that often, having a gun with 8-9 rounds on him/her beats me not having a gun at all.

If you aren't very confident with 7 rounds, then get to the range, my friend. 7 rounds is plenty.

ETA: You can always carry an extra magazine, too.

I wear khakis and a polo 90% of the time. I have to have a small gun that can be concealed in this scenario. I have been carrying a BG380 in my pocket but a) wanted something more powerful for myself and b) wanted my wife to carry so I gave it to her. If I have to use my weapon at my place of business, I promise, 7 rounds will be plenty.

My carry weapon is not my home defense weapon.
