3-point shooting is a lot better than i thought it was. Looks to me like we could use a strong inside presence on that right block.

Those are actually really good 3pt % numbers. Whats funny is that our lowest percentage from 3 is from the corners which sre the "easiest" 3. Ive actually read that the corner 3 is the most efficient shot in basketball. And yeah..our interior scoring is pretty low. Not surprising however if you look at our roster.

What these charts tell me is that the Pelicans built a team based on guards attacking the rim. Unfortunately none of the big money guards are converting there at a high enough rate to make it a truly dominant attack.

Evans and Gordon are historically much, much better at the rim. Holiday has always been mediocre to poor there.

Aminu's shot chart is basically the same as JJ Hickson's. Hickson is better in the Non RA Paint and Aminu takes more 3s. Again Aminu is a 4 in a 3's body. At this point, pretending otherwise is willful ignorance.
