Really, who the frick cares?
Wasn't there some long article somewhere that was disappointed that conservatives weren't more outraged about the Missouri guy? There was.
Nobody really cares about cocksuckers. It's the in-your-face aspect of it and the absurdity that there isn't anything abnormal about it. Pretty much it's a career enhancement for pop culture.

And coming out as gay is a big deal because for a very very long time, coming out as gay was career-destroying for actresses and sports stars. Nowadays everyone has the "who cares" attitude, which is exactly the right way to handle it; it's no big deal, shouldn't be news. But the media still runs with it because it used to be so taboo and it's still an eye-catching headline.
