I'm going fishing . I bought her flowers on Tuesday to throw her arse off. Flowers on a non holiday are worth twice as much as flowers on valentine's day in my opinion.

I'm married and we are not doing anything. We stopped when we had kids. It is just a pain in the arse to get a babysitter and fight the young bucks that are in love that overcrowd the restaurants. We may do something another night or we may not. It isn't really a big deal for either of us.

Excuse me for having a sensible and cool wife.

We'll probably just eat at home. My wife is coming off working three consecutive overnight shifts at the hospital and we're going to the Spanish Town Mardi Gras ball Saturday night. We usually go to a nice restaurant a week or two before or after Valentine's to avoid the crowds. (My wife thinks the holiday is a rip-off for people who only go out to eat once a year.) I gave her a gift card to a local spa last week, because she was upset about work stuff and I was kind of insensitive to her. I'll buy her a card and a smaller gift tonight and give it to her when she comes home from work at 7:30 a.m. Friday.
