I could be mistaken here, but I'm pretty sure the last time LSU had a player leave for the draft early was Anthony Randolph in 2008. Any other attrition or lack of experience on this team is due to poor recruiting and team construction.

Ok, then most of our early player departures aren't NBA related but for other reasons. Poor recruiting, how the team is put together, key injuries - whatever else. I have the distinct impression that year in, year out LSU is for some reason or another rebuilding its basketball team. And if my impression is not far off from reality, that means there is an almost systemic lack of experienced LSU upperclassmen out there. And that has got to have a cumulative impact on player development among the younger team members. Which is then passed on to the succeeding teams.

Sorry if I was bashing the NBA wrongfully in this case.
