I don't think you get my point at all. You are talking about absolutes. I am not. I'm just saying that all variables that can impact the well being of a child need to be considered and disclosed when interpreting the results of such a study. Do you think that money has no bearing on the well being of a child?

There are many variables that can impact how a child is brought up. Parents can do a great job of raising a child. But let's imagine if they are piss poor and can only afford to live in, let's say North Baton Rouge, and their kid gets shot in a drive by shooting.

An extreme example I know, but it's only to prove a point.

Of course you can argue that a kid from a wealthy family could also be raised poorly, but I'm willing to bet that more criminals come from poor families than wealthy.

That's way more extreme than tax considerations, you are invalidating your own point.
