Only if he lives in the downtown core, which is unlikely.

Alabaster/Helena, Vestavia, and parts of homewood are awesome places to live. I'd say bham gets a lot of shite for some reason, totally underrated city.

About 15% of metro Birmingham lives in Birmingham. The yuppie crowd lives just over the mountain in Homewood or Mountain Brook.
