The LC9 is a great carry gun and nothing more. It's not fun to shoot, but it's probably the safest handgun on the market
This is the only reason I have the LC9. Very easy to carry, and I feel very comfortable carrying IWB. Not fun to shoot.

I don't buy into this very much. Just because the gun has 2 safeties (thumb and magazine disc.) doesn't make it "safer." If you're using a holster that covers the trigger guard the trigger will never be accidentally pressed. Of course, that is unless you use a holster that does not cover the trigger, in which case I would tell you to throw it away.
I've carried a Kahr CM9 (no safety) and a Ruger SR9c (I don't ever use the safety) for a while now. I have never had an accidental discharge of any kind.
Sometimes safeties tend to make people use them as a crutch rather than learning trigger discipline. Not that this is a certainty, but it can happen. Always know where your trigger finger is.
