It would really depend on what you plan to do with said gun.
If you plan to carry it, the LC9 will be more comfortable (singe stack) and lighter (polymer frame and thinner slide). If for home defense, the P95 will be better.
I'm not personally a fan of either one but other people seem to like them and they seem to be reliable.
If you're staying in the Ruger camp, I would give the SR series a hard look. They can all be had in 9, 40, and 45.

I have the LC9 and do carry it some. Mostly it's a truck gun. I was planning to see the LC9 and get a S&W M&P 9.
