It amazes me why older, grown adults such as this "super fan" aren't held to as high of a standard as a 19 year old college kid.
Smart should have been suspended as he was, but that fan is equally to blame IMO

You'd have no fans if you started tossing them for talking crap to the opposing team. This isn't anything new, it's what fans have been doing for decades.

I wouldn't say "equally" to blame. But he certainly bears some responsibility. I don't fight everyone who has something negative to say about me and most people don't. It's a good lesson to learn.

Equally? No. He didn't touch Smart. He definitely was not "in the right" but I think he has imposed a self-ban for the rest of the season.
